Happy Friday, Kindergarten Family!
This was a fun week in kindergarten! Halloween was a great day! The kids were so exhausted yesterday, so we played math games, had some science fun, and then we watched a Halloween cartoon. Today, we learned about Dia De Los Muertos, and Izel's family provided popcorn treats for us to celebrate. Then we had fun Friday =)
Next week is going to be a very busy week. We are starting a new narrative story in writing. Our letters that we are focusing on are u, c, o, and g. Our words of the week are going to be:
In science, we are going to be exploring objects moving down a ramp. There are three lessons, and the kids are going to have a blast being little scientists!
This coming week in math is when we are changing things around. Mr. Hughes will begin joining us during math on Monday. I was hoping to have him this week, but with Halloween, things got a little out of routine. This week, I focused on teaching the kids the new math games I picked up for their centers. I am eager to have some more small group time with them during math.
Next week, we are going to be working on our Christmas show! They are going to be performing in the Nutcracker with grades TK-3rd. We are setting the date next week, so more information will be coming soon.
Thank you so much for stopping by! I hope you all have a beautiful weekend!
