Hello parents =)
We had such a FUN week of learning and partying (today)! We are so thankful for ALL of you for helping make this the best Kindergarten year! I hope the kids had fun telling you everything they know about trees, pumpkins and bats. November is a short month, so we will be taking a small break from science and social studies to focus on reading, writing and math. Happy Halloween Kindergarten families! I hope you have a SPOOKTACULAR weekend!
Hello parents =) I decided to change this page to a blog, so I can easily stream you our class news and information. Changing this page to a blog is also going to allow me to store our entire year of my posts. Currently, I have been erasing them because the old page only allowed me to store five at a time. I hope you are able to easily navigate this blog. If you have any questions, please let me know.
And now for our news...Thank you so much to everyone who was able to come to "A Day in Kindergarten" and to the pumpkin patch! We had a pretty amazing week! I hope that you all enjoyed yourselves as much as we enjoyed having you with us! I am so thankful for ALL of you!
For writer's workshop, we are continuing to work on developing our narrative stories. The kids are really blossoming in reading! Thank you for continuing to read with your child daily! In math, we are working hard at learning how to write and solve a number sentence. Now that we know about trees and the life cycle of a pumpkin, we are moving on to learning about bats. Your child will be researching bats on the iPads as a final assessment and producing a quick write on them. You will see these displayed soon on our Spooky Halloween Door! If you can help contribute to our party, we would truly appreciate it! Have a super FUN weekend!
Write something about yourself. No need to be fancy, just an overview.
